Q. What should my idea be about?
A: Your idea should express how you would like to help bring more fun into the life of an individual, group or organization. Your submission should reflect the reason you think this individual, group or organization deserve some fun.

Q: I think I have an idea, but where should I start?
A: We recommend that you start with thinking about whom or what group you want to help. Next, look through our site or catalogs for ideas, such as themes or products that you might want to use in your idea. We don’t expect you to detail all the products or specific details about your idea, but you can if it helps you formulate your idea.

Q: Who should I nominate?
A:  We are looking for ideas that help make the world a better place for others, so think of an individual (i.e. a teacher, troop leader, a friend, a volunteer), a group (i.e. a scout troop, a hobby group, a church group) or an organization (i.e. a senior community, a teen community center, a mentoring organization). We believe that fun is a great way to improve individual lives and bring groups and communities together.

Q: If I don’t have an idea right away, can I enter my idea later?
A: You will have an opportunity to enter a submission every day you play our instant win game, until the contest entry period closes. Once the contest entry period closes, you will not be able to submit stories. You will not be able to edit a previous story at anytime during the contest entry period. If you have an edit to a story, we suggest you resubmit the idea after an instant win game play.

Q. Can I mail my contest idea?
A: No, contest entries are only accepted online at www.maketheworldmorefun.com , after playing the daily instant win game.

Q: How will the best idea be determined?
A: Once the contest entry period ends, we will review all the ideas and a qualified judging panel will select the top ten ideas based on inspiration, originality and composition. Then we will post the stories on www.maketheworldmorefun.com for the public to review and vote on their favorite story. The story with the most votes, combined with final review of the judging panel, will win the contest. We will contact the winner directly and then post the winner on the www.maketheworldmorefun.com and www.orientaltradingcompany.com sites. By submitting the idea, you have agreed to assign to Oriental Trading Company all rights to the submission.

Q: How will the grand prize be awarded?
A: After eligibility and affidavit requirements have been met, We will award the person who submitted the winning idea with $10,000 in the form of a check or other means of legal payment. The subject of the winner’s submission will receive $5,000 in the form or a check or other means of legal payment along with $5,000 in merchandise credit for Oriental Trading Company. These prizes are non-transferable and will require both parties to complete an affidavit to receive their prizes.
